Meet the Attorneys of Yazdi Law

A Midtown Manhattan team providing personal attention across four practice areas, with legal counsel available in seven languages.

How We Work

Our Approach to Client Representation

Every client at Yazdi Law works directly with an attorney — not an intake coordinator, not a paralegal, and not an assistant. The attorney who handles your initial consultation is the attorney who prepares your documents, responds to opposing counsel, and appears at court dates, USCIS interviews, or closings on your behalf. This is a deliberate structural choice, not a marketing slogan. In substantive legal work — the kind that determines whether a family reunifies, whether a divorce protects a client's interests, or whether an injured worker receives full compensation — continuous attorney attention produces meaningfully better outcomes than volume-driven models.

The firm's attorneys come from different practice backgrounds and bring different strengths to the matters we handle. The common thread is a commitment to direct communication, honest case assessment, and substantive legal work. If a prospective client's matter is outside our expertise or beyond our capacity to serve properly, we say so at the consultation and help identify appropriate counsel elsewhere.

Across the team, Yazdi Law provides legal representation in English, Farsi (Persian), Punjabi, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hebrew — serving communities that frequently find it difficult to obtain substantive legal counsel in their preferred language.

Amirali Oloomiyazdi, Esq., Founding Attorney of Yazdi Law, PLLC

Amirali Oloomiyazdi, Esq.

Founding Attorney

Amirali founded Yazdi Law to provide substantive, relationship-driven representation across immigration, personal injury, matrimonial, and real estate matters. His defense-side background in construction accident and premises liability cases informs how he now represents plaintiffs — with particular insight into how insurance carriers evaluate and defend claims. Amirali is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, trained as a mediator in Manhattan Civil Court, and admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.

Rajan is admitted in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of International Trade — allowing him to pursue federal appellate review of immigration court decisions when necessary. He is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Elan Stiberman, Esq., Of Counsel at Yazdi Law, PLLC

Elan Stiberman, Esq.

Of Counsel

Elan brings experience representing insurance carriers in first-party and third-party coverage disputes, managing complex business and real estate matters, and advising on intellectual property and commercial transactions. His approach is rooted in formal mediation training — he is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as both a Circuit Civil Mediator and a Family Mediator. Elan is admitted in Florida and the District of Columbia (not New York); his role at the firm focuses on matters within his admitted jurisdictions and on transactional, mediation, and advisory work that does not constitute the practice of New York law.

Languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew

Practice Focus: Insurance, Business, Real Estate, Dispute Resolution

Multilingual Legal Representation

Across the firm's three attorneys, Yazdi Law offers substantive legal counsel in seven languages. This capability is meaningful in practice — for immigration matters where clients are navigating an unfamiliar legal system, for family matters where cultural context shapes how issues are understood and resolved, for real estate transactions where unfamiliar documents carry significant consequences, and for personal injury cases where insurance adjusters sometimes exploit perceived language barriers to minimize settlement values.
